Welcome to the Resales group

Hi, I’m Alison Ducker and I lead the Resales sub-group.

I’ve worked within Housing Associations for the past 23 years, the last 15 being in leasehold management.

I currently work for South Yorkshire Housing Association as their Leasehold & Service Charge Team Leader, we are a relatively small organisation, so I have found that I need to know a bit about everything as I’ve become the go-to person for all things leasehold and service charge related.

I set up the Resales sub-group to create a support network for professionals like myself who had questions around resales/staircasing/buy back/lease extension but no clear place to turn. Since then, the group has flourished into a collaborative community with over 60 members—and we’re always happy to welcome more.

We primarily connect via email, sharing questions, policies, procedures, and helpful articles. We’ve also held meetings both in person and via Teams to deepen our discussions and build stronger connections.
